I know how you all love your little sneak peeks that I post for you. I love them too but I want to save more for the wow factor that comes with viewing your galleries so from now on I will only be posting 2-4 shots as a preview. Then it will truly be a “sneak peek” and you will have a sugar rush from all the eye candy you will be consuming when you see your gallery! Wish me luck, this will be a hard one for me!

Anthony is the Napa High guy senior rep for me this year and I couldn’t have asked for a better person. I have known him for years and it brings a smile to my face to see the man he has become. Charming, witty, talented and driven. All things I wish for my own son. OK OK, enough of the mushy stuff! Anthony is in a band, Nana DeCarlo, and plays the bass. There is a lot of fun and exciting things happening here at Sarah Lane Studios and one of the coolest parts is getting the opportunity to work with so many seniors! Mariah’s session earlier this week was awesome. She really brought a lot of variety in front of the lens and knew her angles. I totally LOVED that red dress too! Although I am not sure if it would be nearly as cute on me as it was on her! Here is a sneak peek into her session. ..

Carlianne is a senior at Napa High and this past weekend we went out to shoot her senior portraits. This girl is sweet as pie and I just totally love her laugh! We had fun going from place to place and even had a few honks and randoms taking pictures of us. Talk about awkward! But she was a trooper and was game for anything I threw her way. Thanks Carli, I hope you love your pictures!
The last part of this session we wanted to get some pictures to bring honor to Carlianne’s family. They suffered two unimaginable loses a couple years ago. Carlianne’s cousin Jared was a Marine and was serving in Iraq, trying to help rebuild the city for the Iraqi people. Jared lost his life On November 4, 2004 by a road side bomb. His brother Nathan joined the army to carry on Jared’s legacy of helping the Iraqi people and on August 22, 2007, Jared lost his life when his helicopter crashed after take off. The jeep and the army jacket were both Nathan’s and Carlianne wanted to incorporate them into her senior portraits. Tears were flowing and I cannot imagine the loss that this family has had to endure. I am sure the family will be proud to see how Carli has brought honor to her cousins. I am proud of her strength and I know that these men will never be forgotten.
