This past weekend I had a session with the “B” Family! I loved getting to know them as we drove all over the country side for their session. Two of their children have been diagnosed with autism and I was a little nervous before the shoot because knowing the sensitivities that often come with the disorder, I didn’t want to over stimulate or overwhelm them. My nerves were gone as soon as we arrived at our first location and their little girl held my hand as we walked together. Totally stole my heart! As I began to shoot she started blowing me kisses and would giggle and say some words under her breath. I really didn’t know what she was saying until mom said, “she is reciting “Green Eggs & Ham”. One of my all time favorite books! These kids are a treasure and I thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning with them.
I feel blessed to have met you guys and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. These ones of your little man in the mustard are killing me!

Back in December is when Taylor’s session was originally scheduled. We met up at Sisters Boutique in Yountville and she was dressed with makeup looking flawless. I felt horrible that I had to be the bearer of bad news and tell her that it was now pouring buckets! I felt terrible that we were going to have to reschedule because I know how much you guys look forward to your photoshoots. We set a date for February, keeping our fingers crossed and prayers said that the weather would be good. Well, it was better than good, it was PERFECT!! A 70 degree day in February?? Say what?! It was a perfect day for a shoot and here is a look into some of the images we got. YAY for sun!

I love photographing newborns! Maybe it’s because my kids are older now and I miss all of the sweet things of when they were little. I love the little sighs, dreamy smiles, their tiny toes and the way they smell right after a bath. This little girl stole my heart. She was such a charmer and slept so soundly the whole time I was there. Thank you Blake and Malaney for all of your help! You guys are truly blessed and I can’t wait to see her grow! Enjoy every moment

You all have heard me rave about Sisters Boutique in Yountville. Michelle is my uh-mazing makeup artist and the store does my high school senior styling. Well one of the sisters of “Sisters” just had her baby and I was honored to be a part of capturing this time for them! I love this family and I am so happy for them! Here is a look into Kaia’s first session with Sarah Lane Studios and she couldn’t have been more perfect!
