Lauren is this years 2011 girl senior rep for Maria Carrillo high school! Lauren is a beautiful girl with a happiness and love for life that is contagious! I have been looking forward to getting her in front of my lens since I took her brothers senior pictures a couple years ago! Charisma definitely runs in the family! when you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? a marine biologist ( i called it an ocean diver)

best thing about Studio 12 seniors is: feeling like a professional model while taking pictures!

Back in December is when Taylor’s session was originally scheduled. We met up at Sisters Boutique in Yountville and she was dressed with makeup looking flawless. I felt horrible that I had to be the bearer of bad news and tell her that it was now pouring buckets! I felt terrible that we were going to have to reschedule because I know how much you guys look forward to your photoshoots. We set a date for February, keeping our fingers crossed and prayers said that the weather would be good. Well, it was better than good, it was PERFECT!! A 70 degree day in February?? Say what?! It was a perfect day for a shoot and here is a look into some of the images we got. YAY for sun!

Taking three weeks off of shooting has been a nice break especially after the last four months of shooting almost every day! But I have to admit that I was a bit giddy at my first senior session of 2010 on Saturday! I LOVE when seniors are totally game for whatever I have in mind! Yes, a location might look crazy as we pull up, but trusting your photographer is crucial! Kirstie trusted me and it paid off! I hope you love your images as much as I do! I had such a fun day with you and your cousin! All my best for an awesome senior year!

What might people not know about you? I don’t wear matching socks and i shaved my head when i was 10

What are your plans after high school? College! probably south, and probably Psychology if i can figure out how to spell it.

The word I say most often is? “naow” as in “come over naoww”

Bronte has a ton of cool things going for her! 1. She has a super cool name. 2. She wants to be a chef and loves to cook. She is already working in some pretty awesome restaurants and hasn’t even graduated yet! 3. She plays the guitar (and pretty well I might add! I just might hire her to come on shoots with me to play background music 4. She is HILARIOUS. Take a look at her sneak peek, her personality is quite adorable.
