Class of 2020! The time is FINALLY HERE for you to be a part of the Studio Twelve Models team! There are A LOT of NEW things happening this year, so here are all the details on how YOU can apply to be a PART OF OUR NEXT TEAM! Prepare to have the time of your LIFE!
The Details
For the past 10 years, between 200-300 students apply yearly in hopes of being a part of the much anticipated Studio Twelve Models team! For the Class of 2020, we will be opening between 15-30 model spots for Juniors in Napa and Sonoma County. Here are some of the perks of being on our team!
SENIOR MODEL CONCEPT SHOOT
Get ready for SUPER FUN and insanely creative styled concept photoshoot with International Award Winning Photographer, Sarah Lane! Sarah is known all around the globe for her concept creative shoots and has had several of her shoots featured in publication. Some of our concept shoots from the previous years have included Masquerade, Steam Punk, French Mod, Brandy Melville, Puppeteers, I'm With the Band, Alice in Wonderland and SO many more! This year, we are planning an AMAZING Concept Shoot created just for the Class of 2020 Studio Twelve Model team!
FUN OUTREACH EVENTS
We have a few projects on the calendar that give the team an opportunity to come together and take part in giving back to the community and beyond. New to this year, we will be forming a peer support group within our team that takes part in mentoring our Twelve Teens group of middle school aged students.
CUSTOM SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSIONS
The Studio Twelve Senior Portrait Experience is SO much more than just a typical senior portrait session. It's all about capturing the essence of you and allowing your personality to take center stage. At Studio Twelve, we care about getting to know you: your style, your personality and your interests. Your Couture Session is customized to your personality and is an experience unlike any other! (Having your senior session at Studio Twelve is a requirement of being a Studio Twelve Model. More details below!)
Investment
This year, the only financial commitment to Studio Twelve is the cost of your very own personalized Studio Twelve Senior Portrait Session. The session fee of $295 is due upon making the team and a date will be set for your session at that time. Please keep in mind that this session fee includes the session itself and all Digital Collections, prints and photo products are sold separately. Studio Twelve Senior Model Program is a flat fee of $295 which and includes aSo essentially, this ONCE IN A LIFETIME experience of being a part of Studio Twelve Models and the creative concept shoot are just a BONUS!
Additional costs:
Hair & Makeup
Girls will be responsible for paying for hair and makeup for the concept model shoot. Hair and Makeup services average around $75-$100 per service and this is paid directly to our artists (not to the studio). These services are required and will be done by professional artists that have discounted their fee substantially for our Model Team. This fee is additional and is not included in the Model Program Fee.
Styling for the Creative Concept Shoot
Each Model will be responsible for putting together the styling/clothing/accessories that they will be wearing for the group concept shoot. There may be an option, depending on the theme, to have a flat fee paid to the studio to have me do the styling for you. More details to come on that! Models on average spend between $50-$100 on their styling (depending on the complexity and creativity of the concept theme).
Requirements
If selected, all Studio Twelve Models are required to have their Senior Portrait Session at Studio Twelve. Your Senior Portrait Session Fee will be due upon making the team and includes a pre-session styling consultation as well as a 2 hour custom
on-location photoshoot featuring up to 4 outfits. Digital Collections, prints and products are sold separately.
Registration
The application process for the Class of 2020 Studio Twelve Senior Model Team begins on MONDAY APRIL 22, 2019! Applications will be reviewed by our current Senior Model Team and voted on. Applicants that were nominated and applicants with the highest amount of votes will be invited to Round Two: Group Interviews. We are looking for students that are outgoing, kind, care about the community and helping others, love fashion and are excited about styled photoshoots! No previous modeling experience is required and we welcome all to apply! Once Interviews have finished, our class of 2019 Model Team will be voting one last time to select our new Senior Model Team to represent the Class of 2020. The students with the highest votes will be announced no later than May 31!
